Hi. I'm Genesia. I'm a photographer.
First and foremost, I'm a designer at heart. Photography is a close second, however. It was, and still is, a hobby that I'm EXTREMELY passionate about. Let's get you up to speed on my short photography history...
I got my first taste of photography by fiddling around with my dad's Sony Alpha DSLR for a couple years. Mostly used it on vacations - family photos and landscapes were the norm. Then, I found myself enrolled in the yearbook elective in freshman year of high school. I picked up a couple of photography tips there, and focused my high school efforts on people and portraits. Fast forward to late 2014.
Thoughts I had: what's the hardest type of photography? Hmm. Concert/music photography! The lighting must be the worst to work with. If I can master that - then I will be UNSTOPPABLE, and every other type of photography will come easy! (That is not the case as I have since discovered, studio photography is not easy by any means). Plus, it'd be fun to be attend shows for artists I admire while providing my photographic expertise.
